*sigh*

I'm a jumbled mix of thoughts and emotions after a tough race today ~ so in a few days when I get it sorted out ~ and stop being grouchy :P ~ I'll post my update.

For now, I'll let my stats speak for themselves. But hey, I finished 15,994th out of 25,000 runners, so it can't be all bad, eh??? ;)

You made it, you started and you finished... way better than the rest of us who sat on the couch today.

May not be what you expected but congratulations... you did it and you should be proud.

Awesome! You have done something that 95% of the population can't even imagine completing. Good for you and what a great example you are for your kids.

Way to go, Pokester. You did do it -- and faster than just two months ago.

What impressed me the most was that last run on University. You should do the Run for the Islands with me n the 26th. It's a 5k and we can run it together. We can even invite Lisa.

You ran 13.1 miles you crazy girl! That is an awesome feat!

I am so happy I got to meet you & can't wait for the next meetup! You're just about sweet enough that I'd drive 3 hours for a run with you! ;)

Be well runnerwoman!

You already know where I stand on this whole issue.

I know all about being overly hard on yourself, and I'm going to impose some of my experience - don't do it. Put the disappointment aside and revel in the glory of finishing your SECOND 1/2 marathon.

First, I'm so happy to have met the Pokester in person ;D Really, it was a pleasure :-)

Second, you did AWESOME Karen!! You got a PR!!! Those babies don't come easy.
