Valium, anyone?

No wait...I don't mean do you want some.......I mean do you HAVE some???

For ME!!!!!

Sadly,I don't have the time or the brain power to even whine about what a crazy week this has been so far. So I will just let out a big, ol' ******SIGH*******

There. I feel much better. :)

I am ITCHING to run today, it's just a matter of if I can find some spare time. I could REALLY use it for some stress relief. I am hoping to get a quick run in tonight.....then a 5ish miler on Saturday morning before we head to Tucson.

We will be in Tucson on Saturday for D's football game (regional champs this time), and then heading to Flagstaff on Sunday for our ride on the Polar Express. Anyone ever been on this thing? I hear it's fantastic. The kids are really excited.

I've been trying to get around to posting for the last couple of days just to say THANK YOU to everyone here in BlogLand that has supported me so much in the past few weeks...and especially all the support in the past couple days following Big Sur. You guys have no idea how much all your kind words and encouragement have meant to me. I could not have found a better group of running friends anywhere else! You guys ROCK! :)

And as promised, here's a few more pics of Big Sur.....

Pre-race bliss:

A picture of the, AHEM..... "flat" course at Big Sur. Anyone besides me see the hill we're climbing here? This was at the the turnaround point between mile 6 and 7.....also known as the "Longest Mile of My Life."

"Hey look, Micheline....we get to run downhill now!!!!"

Almost to the finish....

AHHHHHHHH......FINALLY!
>
Can you say "DONE?" :)

This concludes this episode of the Big Sur Half Marathon for 2007.

Until next year :)

Sounds like busy times! Good luck getting the runs in and with the football game. Our local high school is in the semi-final game tomorrow...lots of excitement in the air!

Isn't it great, though, to have that itch?! I still find it amazing that I long to do something *physical*. Running is so great that way.

Sounds like a busy weekend. Hope it's fun!

Funny cartoon on your blog. That's me. I have a few cartoons on my blog, but I don't think I have any runners.
