Apparently, I'm Average

I'm a number-geek, and this bothers me.

I got a C. I'm "Average."

I should have gotten a B and been "Above Average."

I'm talking about WORKOUTS. Workout COMPLETION, to be exact.

I have had 18 training workouts on my schedule so far for the month of September, and I've missed 5. So I get a 72% for the month of September. Fudge. That's actually a C-MINUS.

Had I not been sick this week, I would have gotten an 84% and been a little more pleased with myself.

Nooooooo, I'm not a compulsive number junkie ~ why do you ask? Me thinks I may have been hanging around with Lisa a bit too long now. But nooooo....I can still run somewhat uneven mileage and feel good about myself. So I'm safe.

And in case anyone asks, of course I included tomorrow's long run in my completion totals!!! DER.....it's going to be the highlight of my week :)

LOL! I guess you are a number geek after all...and you have been hanging out with Lisa too much. ;-)

Have fun on your run tomorrow.

I don't think being sick counts, especially cause you can't just "make up" sick days when it comes to exercising! Have a great run tomorrow!!

I got an F for this week where I didn't get off the couch.

I'm with Wes being sick doesn't count.

Haha, that is too funny about the number crunching and the grades! It's true- don't feel bad about missing workouts because you were sick. It's not like it was self-inflicted sickness like a hangover or something, so you should readjust your percentage.

And have a great 8-miler!!

I'm with wes. you need to do something different about sick days because working out when you're sick makes things worse and the grade should be about making you more healthy!

I agree with Wes too, sometimes we need those "sick" days to take the load off....don't beat yourself up too much......oh and enjoy Maui...We stayed on the West side at the Westin, it was the host hotel for the marathon...

You're not average! ;)

Heck, we're grading on a curve. The majority of people don't exericise a single day. You're an A+.

Got it, an A+++++

I like Pat's thinking you get an A++++

Oh, but you couldn't control being sick. I was out for over a week with being sick and out of town for training. Surely sucked up my September Stats. I am already thinking about October and what I want to focus on and accomplish.

I hope the long run went well!

I think that whenever you get sick, you get extra time to makeup the work...so you should average your score over then next several weeks (or just excuse yourself from the assignment...)

Above & beyond average in my book! You have been sick so you get bonus points. Javasurfer's numbers is really sticking with u...LOL!

No, not hanging around Lisa too much. Once you start talking (or writing) like you've relocated to East L.A., then maybe I'll consider it. Otherwise, not.
