Who can guess...

....how many miles I've run this week?

Anyone? Anyone?????

Oh that's right.......I remember......

And how many times did I work out???? Yup, you guessed it. Open me up a big case of fat, lazy GOO.

I have a million excuses, if you'd like to hear them. The first being that Hubby is out of town all this week, so I am juggling work, kids, and life in general all by myself. AND I can't exactly go out and run in the early morning or evening while the kidlets are asleep.....And......I'm tired. And....AF is visiting me and I'm miserable. And......

Oh, sorry....excuses suck. I always forget that part. Did I also mention that I have a nice, working treadmill in my garage? No, it didn't slip my mind ~ I just chose to be lazy instead.

Now I could move on and tell you all the reasons why I can't run next week either ~ mostly related to traveling to NC, 12 hour days at the office and nights of little or no sleep.

But that would be more excuses.

I'd also love to ramble on about how irritated I am that I can't seem to lose weight, but then surely one of my wise RBF's would point out way too many obvious problems with the *Plan* that I am apparently not on.

Heard enough? Me too. I have a couple of good runs, a couple good days or weeks of smart eating....and then I fall off track again. I am very frustrated. Something has got to change here soon.

Love,

Your Friday Friend Flubber

I hate trying to fit in workouts when The Man is away. I do. It's just one thing too much. I feel your pain. :)

Now when the man gets back you take a nice long walk. Ok?

See now if you had posted this earlier in the week, I would have been at your house and made sure you got a run in (I could watch the kids, or they could ride their bikes and we could run, or you could get on the treadmill, or we could all go for a power walk...are you getting the idea here?). Don't worry - you will get back on track soon! :)

Gotta put your money on the race girl. Drop $60 for another half and see if that doesn't motivate you. LOL

Buehler? Buehler?

Get out the door and run today. Find a way. It will help with the attitude so much. You can do it!!

It is HARD to get in runs when you're flying solo with a list of responsibilities. You'll feel more like yourself and motivated when your husband is home and "normalcy" can resume. Don't beat yourself up over this one week. Pick yourself up and run! And enjoy it!

Oh man it's so hard to stick to working out when the routine is in shambles. Don't be too hard on yourself.

You and me are going to have to get our diet plan together and ATTACK this spring. I'm back up to 155 today (thanks to McD's cookies--I ate WAY too many last night and just learned today they are 160 calories each, ugh) and I've got to nip this in the bud. We can commiserate and we can win the battle of the flubber together!
